About the artwork

Counterweight II is built from a blackened steel arc, a pale stone block and a small bronze weight. The sculpture appears measured and provisional at once, as if the form is still testing its own balance.

Its compact scale makes it suitable for a plinth, shelf or quiet architectural setting.
