ARTMODE is a curated platform for discovering contemporary art and connecting collectors, art lovers, and galleries directly with artists. The platform presents selected artworks and facilitates initial contact, while all further communication and transactions take place directly between the artist and the buyer.
ARTMODE also builds partnerships with charitable organizations, non-profit projects, art associations, and cultural partners, creating a network that connects art, craftsmanship, culture, and social engagement.
ARTMODE does not aim to become an anonymous mass marketplace. We want to present a manageable selection of artists and artisans whom we can get to know, support, promote, and connect personally. This is why participation is curated and linked to an association or ARTMODE partner structure.
No. ARTMODE provides visibility, presentation, networking, and initial contact. ARTMODE does not purchase or resell the works and is not a contractual party to a sale between an artist or artisan and a buyer.
Open the relevant artwork or artisan design item page, click the Enquire button, and send your request through the contact form.
You can ask about availability, price, shipping, materials, dimensions, commissions, or other details. Your enquiry will be forwarded directly to the respective artist or artisan.
Shipping and delivery are arranged directly between the artist or artisan (or other stated seller) and the buyer.
ARTMODE Gallery does not handle shipping, logistics, or delivery. Any shipping options, costs, insurance, customs requirements, and timelines should be discussed directly with the seller during the inquiry process.
All payment terms are agreed directly between the artist or artisan (or other stated seller) and the buyer. ARTMODE Gallery is not a contractual party to the transaction. Where a direct PayPal link is provided on a profile or work page, payment is made directly to the respective artist or artisan.
Any return, cancellation, or refund conditions depend on the agreement between the artist or artisan (or other stated seller) and the buyer and on any applicable legal requirements.
ARTMODE Gallery does not set or administer individual return policies.
No. ARTMODE Gallery is a curated platform that presents artworks and artisan design items and forwards inquiries to the respective artist or artisan. All negotiations, contracts, payments, shipping arrangements, and any subsequent agreements take place directly between the seller and the buyer.
No. ARTMODE Gallery does not guarantee sales or successful connections with collectors or buyers. Profiles are structured to support online visibility and discoverability, but sales results cannot be guaranteed.
If you would like to present your work on ARTMODE, send a short introduction, a portfolio or website link, and information about how you would like to participate to onboarding@artmode.gallery or use the contact form on the ARTMODE website. The team will review your submission and follow up with further information.
There are currently three main ways to participate:
1. Through RG10 Gallery / the association behind RG10 Gallery: artists and artisans can apply to become associate members. The membership includes ARTMODE participation and benefits for selected RG10 Gallery exhibitions, workshops, and art activities. Membership renews annually and can be cancelled in writing at any time.
2. Through Lead Partner LichTraum by Sonia Siblik: artists and artisans can participate through LichTraum. This participation is agreed for one year and does not renew automatically.
3. Through an ARTMODE Partner Art Association: ARTMODE enters into individual agreements with art associations and artist organisations. These agreements can enable their members to participate under the conditions agreed with the respective partner.
Yes. ARTMODE currently does not offer anonymous independent listings without an association or recognised partner connection. This structure helps us keep the platform manageable, build trust, and develop personal support, networking, exhibitions, workshops, and other opportunities around the participating artists and artisans.
Applications and submitted profiles are reviewed by the ARTMODE team appointed. Artistic or craft quality, the overall fit with ARTMODE, completeness of information, and reliable communication are considered.
No. ARTMODE is an international platform and is therefore presented in English. Profiles, biographies, statements, and work descriptions may also be submitted in German. German content can later be professionally translated into English as part of the onboarding process.
ARTMODE Partners are organizations, projects, associations, and cultural institutions that cooperate with ARTMODE and share our interest in art, craftsman- and craftswomanship, culture, social engagement, or community building.
ARTMODE currently distinguishes between four partner categories:
• Charity / Aid Organization
• Non-profit Project
• Art Association
• Cultural Partner
No. Partners may also be art associations or cultural partners with whom ARTMODE collaborates on exhibitions, projects, events, artist networks, or other initiatives.
Partnerships are developed individually. An art association can, for example, enter into an agreement that enables selected members to participate in ARTMODE. The exact conditions, onboarding process, responsibilities, services, and possible fees are agreed with the respective organisation.
Ask your association whether it already cooperates with ARTMODE. If there is no existing partnership, the association is welcome to contact us to explore a possible collaboration.
Yes. Charitable organizations and non-profit projects can become ARTMODE Partners and present their work and mission on the platform. ARTMODE also encourages connections between artistic practice and social engagement.
After your participation has been confirmed, you will receive the relevant onboarding and submission instructions. You will then have to submit your artist or artisan profile, biography or statement, portrait image, and selected artworks or artisan design items.
Your biography should be concise and relevant to your artistic or craft practice. It may include where you live and work, education or training, exhibitions, projects, awards, residencies, publications, collaborations, and important stages of your development.
A statement explains your work in your own words. You can describe themes, ideas, materials, techniques, cultural influences, working methods, traditions, processes, or questions explored through your practice. Keep the text clear, personal, and easy to understand.
Submitted information and images are reviewed for completeness, image quality, consistency, and suitability for ARTMODE. If information is missing or an image does not meet the presentation standard, we may contact you for corrections or replacement files. Once the profile and selected works are ready, they can be published on the platform.
ARTMODE may make minor editorial adjustments to improve spelling, readability, formatting, translation, and consistency. We do not intentionally change the meaning of an Artist Statement, Artisan Practice Statement, biography, or work description without consultation where the change would be substantial.
By submitting content, artists and artisans confirm that the information provided is accurate, that they are entitled to present and offer the submitted works or items, and that they hold the necessary rights or permissions for the submitted photographs, texts, and other content. They are also responsible for informing ARTMODE about important changes affecting their profile, prices, availability, or works.
Artists and artisans retain the copyright and other rights they hold in their original works and content. By submitting images and information, they permit ARTMODE to use the material as reasonably necessary to operate, present, and promote the platform and the respective profile, subject to the full Terms and Conditions.
ARTMODE may remove, hide, or request changes to profiles or individual works where information is misleading or incorrect, rights may be infringed, communication is repeatedly unreliable, content does not comply with platform rules, or continued publication could create legal or reputational problems for ARTMODE, its participants, or partners.
